Social, Political, and Legal Aspects of Environmental Science and Technology (Soils 502/CHE581)


Course Objectives:

Environmental research in science and engineering has to consider social, political, and legal aspects in order to be acceptable to stake holders, regulators, and the general public. Purpose of this course is to provide an understanding of the social, political, and legal implications of environmental science and technology. Theoretical concepts tied to case studies will be discussed.
